There are only a few summer shots here, most are of the fall color change on the mountain roads in the Cherokee National Forest.
Fall Foliage in Cherokee National Forest
These are only a SAMPLE of the photo's taken driving on the beautiful mountain roads of the Cherokee National Forest.
Watch out for HUNGRY TREES ! ! !

When you want to see the REAL thing, get off the beaten path and find your way to the gravel roads of the Cherokee National Forest,
where you WON'T get bogged
down in traffic,
you
MIGHT see A vehicle on your day in the mountains,
you COULD see some wildlife,
and you WILL see some of the most beautiful scenery found anywhere on the planet!
The roads we shot were about 40 minutes away from Cleveland Tennessee, or about an hour and a half from Chattanooga.
There are NO tourist traps out here, no lines of cars behind you trying to get around you, LOTS of solitude, and a GREAT ride!
BE WARNED, some of the roads are VERY narrow, and can have a very steep drop should you wander off the gravel!
Drive SLOWLY, and STOP to enjoy the scenery (trust me, nobody will be honking at you to move).
Bring water, and a pic-nic lunch to really enjoy your time here, but PLEASE
LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS, and TAKE ONLY MEMORIES
