Cops: 1 killed in crash on icy upstate NY highway

State police say one person has died in a multi-vehicle crash on an icy upstate New York highway, shutting down the westbound lanes. Troopers say Route 17's westbound side is shut down Tuesday afternoon between exits 107 and 109 just outside the Sullivan County village of Monticello from a crash that happened around 3:30 a.m. Police haven't released any other details yet.
