Remains identified as man missing for 3 years
Human remains found by hunters in Coffee County have been identified as those of a man who had been missing for three years. The Tullahoma News reported that Manchester police identified the remains as those of Leo Paul Massicotte.

Man who killed Coffee County nursing student to spend rest of life behind bars
Circuit Court Judge Curtis Smith heard and granted a new motion filed by Jones related to the guilty plea he made on Feb. 4, 2013. Jones had been trying to withdraw his plea but now the original judgment goes back into effect.

Man Withdraws Motion To Get New Trial In Nursing Student's Murder
The man who pleaded guilty to killing a nursing student has withdrawn a motion asking for his plea to be overturned and to get a new trial. The Tullahoma News said Franklin Circuit Judge Curtis Smith ordered Donnie Jones of Tullahoma to spend the rest of his life in prison after approving the withdrawal of the motion.

Strange: Teen accused of killing a bobcat did not hang it from a goalpost
We have an update on the dead bobcat that was discovered at the football practice field at Tullahoma High School this past Tuesday. The Tullahoma students who discovered the bobcat hanging from the goalpost reported the animal to their teacher and the animal was removed by Tullahoma Animal Control.

Teen charged with killing bobcat out of season
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says they have charged a juvenile with killing a bobcat out of season after the animal was found hanging from the goalpost of the Tullahoma High School practice football field. TWRA spokesman Doug Markham told The Tullahoma News that the teen was not charged with hanging the animal and the agency didn't know who was responsible for that act.

School officials in southern Tennessee are investigating who hung a bobcat from the goalpost of the Tullahoma High School practice football field. Students found the dead animal Tuesday morning and reported it to a teacher.

School officials in Coffee County are investigating after a dead bobcat was found hanging from a goal post on the practice football field at Tullahoma High School. The discovery comes as the school gets ready to take on rival Coffee County Central High School in the annual Coffee Pot game.

Tennessee jailer behind bars, faces bribery charge
A former corrections officer from southern Tennessee is set for arraignment next month on charges that he took money from an inmate to allow contraband into a jail. The Tullahoma News reported that 26-year-old James M. Mayes of Manchester is scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court on Nov. 17. Mayes is charged with bribery of a public servant, extortion and official misconduct.
